A Limp,Skip,Jump Down Memory Lane

A year ago today, February 6, 2012, I had my ACL reconstructive surgery. Here's a look back. Notice how many events in my life involved crutches. I was so ready to burn those things by the time I was able to walk without them. I still have scars on my sides from the skin being rubbed raw. The body is an amazing work of art in its ability to form new growth and heal. Help from loved ones didn't hurt either. Thank you, God, for a knee that works!

And so it begins

My (painful) constant companions

Christmas play and crutches

Joey's funeral and crutches (Michigan)

Universal Studios and crutches (Florida)

Disney and crutches

Furniture placement and crutches

Popcorn and crutches

My (less painful) constant companion

Post-surgery

One year later
